Job Overview:

Ajman University is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to join our HR team. This role is crucial in supporting the implementation of effective reward strategies, manpower planning, and compliance with compensation policies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing reward strategies, processes, and solutions that align with HR objectives.
  • Conduct annual manpower planning reviews and ensure alignment between budgeted and actual workforce requirements.
  • Maintain and update Ajman University’s manpower plans, organizational structures, and headcount records.
  • Monitor and report manpower activities, analyze workforce composition, and track actual workforce movements against planned budgets.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data to support the development of the annual manpower budget, collaborating with various departments to ensure timely submission.
  • Update and maintain organization charts in coordination with the Manager of Rewards and Manpower.
  • Support job analysis interviews and assist in developing and updating job descriptions and job hierarchies.
  • Facilitate the job evaluation process, ensuring consistency in grading decisions and mitigating equal pay claims.
  • Maintain the job evaluation database, track evaluation statuses, and ensure accurate documentation for assessment panels.
  • Analyze HR data across various platforms, recommending quality HR metrics for improved tracking and decision-making.
  • Evaluate AU’s compensation policies and benchmark them against comparable industries and geographic areas.
  • Ensure compliance with current labor legislation and compensation regulations.
  • Utilize data-driven methods to assess financial and non-financial compensation structures.
  • Participate in salary and labor market surveys to determine industry pay rates and benefits trends.
  • Conduct research on emerging HR trends, best practices, and workforce management strategies.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with established reward provisions.
  • Assist in the design and development of AU’s HR policies, procedures, and operational processes.
  • Maintain HR employment policies, contract templates, and compliance records, recommending updates as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in compensation, benefits, or manpower planning roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, compensation regulations, and HR best practices.
